Sometimes there is a hero standing right next to you and you just don’t know it ‘cause they’re too humble to tell you. Lawrence is a true believer in the freedom of America’s open roads. Like Jerry Rushing, he too could outrun the law by age 12. His steed though is a motorcycle. A man of action and always in motion, he follows his dreams. Lawrence has invested much of his life in professional motorcycle racing. He regularly occupies speeds that most of us can’t even imagine. Fearless and determined, racing in both Super Stock and Formula Extreme, his courage has brought him to the finish line of many race courses, including several of the world's most notorious; Loudon a.k.a. Laconia, Daytona, and the Isle of Man. If you want something done right you do it yourself. Nothing could be truer when it comes to Lawrence. He defines himself by what he does, not by what he says he’ll do. As the story of the Traveler began to unfold, he bought a camera, went to North Carolina and began the documentation process himself. Subsequently he has emerged as a talented film maker. What he has created is a beautiful and caring snapshot of a fading way of American life. Currently Lawrence lives in Upstate New York where he is Chief Engineer at a private industrial complex. When not on location Lawrence still finds time to race dirt bikes and snowmobiles with his friends, and as always, Woolfie, his pet wolf is not far behind.
